Today I'll be painting live for Tuesday Schmoozeday on Crafty Link. I'll be working with Pan Pastels and using a wash technique.
Join me at Noon EST today, Tuesday, May 14 here: http://craftylink.com/group/tuesday-schmoozeday/forum/topics/may-14...
And don't forget to share this with your friends!

SCARFED will be getting a facelift, along with the Sewmantra Blog. I'll still be here and I'll still be contributing, but I'll be taking some time to make this group and the blog a better more comprehensive place for you to be engaged and get engaged as artists, writers and people of the world wide web.
More is coming soon, and I'll keep you abreast of all the great things coming as they go live!
Bien Sante!

Hey all, Keira, one of our members is doing videos for Polymerclay TV - an affiliate of Things Crafty and since she is brand new, I wanted to tell you her very first video is now up!
If you are into PC - check out her super fun video here: http://www.youtube.com/polymerclaytv
Thanks for sharing Keira, and great job on your first video!!

Awesome Jackie, I'll be posting our Create-ART-Along later today
Comment by Jackie Davidson on April 29, 2013 at 11:13am My book is purchased and ready to be altered! :)

I think that's awesome, we should plan on that for this coming week's project Jackie :)
Comment by Jackie Davidson on April 25, 2013 at 5:22pm Maybe a combination of collage and acrylic...? I'm still in my stamp-creating mode, so I'm sure to want to create something like that for one page...maybe we should do a themed book? A foreign land or specific era of time that intrigues us?

Cool idea Jackie! So what do you think we should do to them?
Comment by Jackie Davidson on April 25, 2013 at 3:56pm How about altering a toddler's board book (you can usually find old ones at goodwill, etc)? You could give specifications as to subject or medium if you wanted to make it more challenging...and the participants could choose to trade their books or not...put all the names in a hat and draw partners? Here's an example of what I mean by a board book:
